A multimedia artist, wellness enthusiast, native Detroiter and lover of music. Lex has experience in podcasting for internet radio, community organizing, visual storytelling, hospitality and customer service. A community leader, entrepreneur, creative thinker, and dedicated student, Lex is passionate about all things community and creativity.
Lex Brown is the founder and CEO of Whealthy Person, LLC, a media company targeting wellness companies and creative teams. Prior to Whealthy Person, Lex owned and operated an online entertainment and culture news platform called Taco Picasso. Through Taco Picasso, Lex started a featured Artist series that shared stories of some of the most prolific Detroit creators and innovators, as well as starting Taco Bout It the Podcast on Oh So Radio, and speaking on a millennial entrepreneurship panel for Detroit Startup Week. Most recently, Lex serves as associate producer for the Detroit Youth Empowerment Awards.
Lex is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in Media Arts & Studies at Wayne State University. She is expected to graduate in May.
